Marketing - Google Ads Conversion Tracking
We use the online marketing measure "Google Ads" on our website to advertise our products and services on external websites with the help of advertising material (so-called Google Ads). This advertising material is delivered by Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street Dublin 4, Ireland) via so-called "Ad Servers". For this purpose, we use ad server cookies, through which certain parameters for measuring success, such as display of the ads or clicks by users, can be measured. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Ads will store a cookie on your end device. As soon as you complete an action on our website, Google recognizes the cookie and saves your action as a so-called conversion. As long as you surf our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google recognize that you have found us through our Google Ads ad. The cookie is read and sent back to Google Ads with the conversion data. We receive a report from Google with statistical evaluations. For example, we learn the total number of users who clicked on our ad and we see which advertising measures were well received. The legal basis for the use of "Google Ads Conversion Tracking" is consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DS-GVO).
