Where can I buy tickets?

Advance booking offices

The exhibition and congress centre does not have its own ticket office. Entrance tickets can be obtained from all the usual advance booking offices, e.g. from

Online

Tickets can be booked online for all events; these are processed by Eventim, the largest ticket sales centre in Germany, where it is also possible to book directly via the seating plan.

As a special service, it is possible to purchase online tickets for selected events. You can book from the comfort of your own home via ticket.direct. With ticket.direkt you also have the option to attend an event with a traditional paper ticket. You can print out your tickets immediately after purchase, which also means that it is possible to purchase tickets shortly before an event.

Is it possible to return pre-paid tickets?

Unfortunately tickets are non-exchangeable. Tickets are sold on behalf of the particular event organiser.

What happens if I lose my ticket before the event?

Tickets are viewed as cash and can therefore not be re-issued, so please look after your tickets carefully. Damaged tickets may also lose their validity, so please keep your tickets in a safe place!

What can I do if an event is cancelled, and I've already puchased tickets?

Generally, tickets may only be returned where they were originally purchased.

Who determines the ticket prices, and which blocks and seats are sold in advance?

The event manager of each particular event is responsible for the seating as well as the pricing of the tickets.

Where can I park?

There are 1,400 parking spaces available in the vicinity of the Exhibition and Congress Centre Halle Münsterland. You are recommended to follow the parking signs for the Exhibition and Congress Centre Halle Münsterland. You will find most of our parking lots in the south, if you turn into "Am Haverkamp" at the Jovel Music Hall.

May I bring my own food and drink to the events?

It is not permitted to bring any food or drink onto the premises. Exceptions are made for those individuals who need to bring their own food or drink for medical reasons, who have written permission from a doctor or a document stating the same. Food for babies and small children is also permitted.

Is food and drink available at the Exhibition and Congress Centre?

We offer a variety of different refreshments. Information about refreshments and the restaurant can be found under catering.

Is there a cloakroom where I can hand in my jacket / coat?

There are several cloakrooms at the Exhibition and Congress Centre Halle Münsterland. Here you can hand in your personal items for €2.

Is there a lost property desk for objects that have gone missing?

Should you have lost something, please contact the following number, where all lost property is stored, on the next working day: Tel. 0251-6600 0.

When do the doors open to the public?

Doors open to the public usually one and a half hours before an event commences. Depending on the organiser, this may vary. Admission is granted on the basis of a valid ticket which loses its validity upon leaving the Exhibition and Congress Centre Halle Münsterland.

Are photos or filming permitted during an event?

The use of audio and video recording equipment or photographic and film cameras is not permitted. The recording of sound, images, descriptions or event results - even parts thereof - and the transfer of such in any form including via the Internet or any other media to other persons for private or public use is forbidden.

May I smoke in the Exhibition and Congress Centre Halle Münsterland?

No, smoking is not permitted.

Are unaccompanied minors under 16 years of age allowed to attend concerts or sports events?

Children under 16 years are only allowed to attend if accompanied by an adult (according to JuSchG: law for the protection of children and youth). Adults are responsible for their children.

According to law, children under 16 are only permitted access when accompanied by an adult. Children under 16 who are accompanied by an adult may attend an even at the Exhibition and Congress Centre Halle Münsterland.

Law for the protection of youth in public places

§5 Dancing events (dancing events = concert)
(1) Unaccompanied children and young persons under 16 years of age are not allowed to attend public dance displays; youths from the age of 16 are allowed to attend until midnight at the latest.
(2) Deviating from paragraph 1, children and youths under 16 may attend a dance display until midnight if it is being run by recognised child care workers, is an artistic activity or is a traditional event.
(3) The responsible authority can approve exceptions.
Children under 16 years of age are hereby allowed access only when accompanied by an adult (according to JuSchG).
Parents or guardians are responsible for their minors.

What am I not allowed to bring with me into the Exhibition and Congress Centre Halle Münsterland?

  • All types of weapons.
  • Objects that can be used as weapons or as missiles, spray cans, pungent or coloured substances or pressurized containers for highly flammable or poisonous gases, apart from standard pocket lighters.
  • Glass containers, bottles, cans, plastic canisters, hard packaging materials or any other objects made of glass or any other fragile, splintering or particularly hard material.
  • Pyrotechnical material such as fireworks, Bengal fire, smoke bombs, smoke powder, flares, sparklers, etc.
  • Flammable objects, rods, sticks (except for those for the visually impaired, with a valid certificate of disability) etc.
  • Mechanical or electrically powered sound instruments (e.g. megaphone, gas pressure fanfares)
  • Posters or anything in written form which in any way serves to publicise a particular opinion, such as racist, xenophobic, radical right-wing, national socialistic or to spread political propaganda material.
  • Bulky objects such as ladders, stools, (collapsible) stools, boxes, travel cases, large bags, rucksacks, children's prams
  • Laser pointers, whistles
  • Flags or transparent rods that are not made of wood or are longer than one metre or with a diameter exceeding 1.5cm. Flags and transparencies permitted onto the premises must be made of a flame-resistant material.
  • Large banners (max. 1.0m², two-pole banners, large quantities of paper, wallpaper rolls, large quantities of confetti etc.
  • Drugs as per the Controlled Substances Act (BtMG), i.e. illegal drugs
  • All food, except for those guests who are permitted to bring food and drink due to medical reasons, who have written permission from a doctor or a document stating the same. Food for babies and small children is also permitted.
  • All types of animal (exception: animal events)
